Parent & Guardian Rights

ExamGiant is built to support families and schools. Many of our users are children, so we want parents and guardians to clearly understand their options and rights regarding their child’s use of ExamGiant.

1. Creating and Managing Child Accounts

• Parents or guardians may create ExamGiant accounts for their children.
• We encourage adults to use their own email address as the main contact for younger children.
• You may update your child’s profile information (name, grade, school, etc.) by logging in and editing the account or by contacting us.

2. Your Right to Know What We Collect

You have the right to know what information we collect about your child and how it is used. In general, this may include:

• Basic account information (name, email or parent email, login history)
• Date of birth or age range (to provide age-appropriate experiences)
• Practice and competition data (scores, subjects, speed, accuracy, rankings)
• School or teacher association, if any

3. Access, Correction, and Deletion

Parents and guardians may:

• Request a summary of the personal information we hold about their child.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of their child’s personal information, subject to any legal or educational-record requirements that may apply when a school is involved.

4. Home Use vs. School Use

Students may use ExamGiant in two main ways:

• Home or family accounts created and controlled by a parent/guardian.
• School or district accounts created and managed by a teacher or administrator.

When a school or district uses ExamGiant, that organization may be considered the “educational agency” responsible for some privacy obligations. In those cases, we work with the school to honor applicable laws and policies, and some requests may need to go through the school.

5. Communication Choices

During registration, you can choose whether to receive:

• Educational emails about new practice tests, competitions, and tools
• SMS text messages or WhatsApp messages (where available)

You can change these preferences at any time by:

• Using the unsubscribe link in our emails,
• Replying STOP to SMS messages (where supported), or
• Contacting us at support@examgiant.com.

6. Monitoring and Progress Reports

One of the main goals of ExamGiant is to help families and teachers see real learning progress. Parents and guardians may:

• Log in and view their child’s scores and activity history.
• Ask us or the child’s teacher for a summary of progress over time.
• Use this information to make decisions about tutoring, extra practice, or competitions.

7. Safety and Misuse

If you believe your child’s account is being misused, or if something on the platform seems unsafe or inappropriate, please contact us immediately. We take reports of cheating, bullying, or other harmful behavior seriously and will investigate.
